Born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago, Belinda grew up savoring the iconic flavors of hot dog stands and the busting food scene of the Windy City. However, life took a turn when Belind moved to Iowa in the 1990s, trading the urban landscape for the serene beauty of farm life, surrounded by nature and animals.

Despite finding solace in the countryside, there was always something missing the taste of home. Determined to share the culinary delights of Chicago with fellow transplants and locals alike, Belinda embarked on a journey to bring a slice of Chicago's food culture to the heart of Iowa.

Thus, Lou-Lou B's was born, a testament to Belinda's unwavering passion for good food and community. Specializing in authentic Chicago-style hot dogs. Lou-Lou B's recreates the nostalgic flavors of the city streets, from the poppy seed bun to the vibrant toppings of mustard, relish, onions, tomatoes, and a dash of celery salt.

Lou-Lou B's commitment to the environment is as strong as their dedication to flavor. Lou-Lou B's strives to minimize waste by eliminating plastic and Styrofoam from their operations. Instead, they opt for biodegradable products whenever possible, ensuring that every meal served leaves a minimal footprint on the plant.

Even the cardboard boxes used to transport ingredients find a second life at Belinda's farm, where they are repurposed as weed amts or added to the compost pile.
